Midnight Madness is the sole reason basketball is so popular amongst the youth in UK, 10 years is serious! The 2010 finals are this Saturday too.

In 1999, coach Nhamo Shire held a series of through-the-night basketball runs at Willesden Sports Centre. He called it “Midnight Madness”.

10 years later, MM is the UK’s biggest summer basketball initiative – reaching thousands of ballers every summer, drawing A-list celebrities to finals nights, and putting on a show quite unlike anything else.

This DVD looks back on the history of the event – and follows four young ballers on their journey through the competition in 2009…all battling for a chance to meet LeBron James.
