London’s Aspiring Models will endure three weeks of intense competition on the catwalk in pursuit of becoming “Mr or Mrs Runway 2010″. Each week, the contestant will appear in Futuristic wear, urban wear, cultural wear, swimwear or couture in concept of choreography.

Celebrating a year in circulation, Candymaguk holds a party previewing the latest crop of UK urban models to enter the scene. The party to be held in Club Traffic (Holborn, London) will have models, performers and fans of the Candymaguk brand. It will also be launching the website of front cover model, Sashia Summers.

Amor Lingerie once again came to the Candymaguk party to showcase their latest garms, called Sassyass clothing. Filmed at Club W in south west London, models Laura, Vanessa and Sexy Chocolate showcased the variety of alluring outfits to an eager crowd. This is just footage of one of the rounds from last weekends Miss Black Britain 2009 Finals. The short story (as reported by Mad Newz Blog via publicist Jessica Huie) is that the organization was a shambles, the start was delayed 90minutes, Nia Long’s planned co-host got butterflies and pulled out and Ms Long basically had to walk out to her 11pm appointment.

Props to rap artist Luc Skyz who was also in the building and quoted by Overground Online as saying “Typical. My ex was in the last one and I remember her saying it was a joke. It’s not a good look“.

Am sure MBB will recover from the bad press and come back better in 2010.
