Got To Dance champ Akai looking every bit as fresh as a kid who just pocketed £100k! Good to hear him give props to choreographer Clare of Class Crew, can see him being a real confident high profile personality in 2010! Incredible that he has a part in the StreetDance 3D movie, thought that was all wrapped!
Got To Dance winner Akai Osei said he would love to start his own fashion range in the future. The street dancer from Kent regularly sports a T-shirt emblazoned with his name and a cap with his initial. He beat off stiff competition from ballet troupe The Box to take the title on Sky1′s talent show.
The youngster also walked off with a £100,000 prize and has thought carefully about what he plans to do with it. Akai said: “I’m going to give some to charity and maybe buy a few hats and go shopping.”
The ten-year-old only started dance lessons a year ago and decided to audition for the show on the advice of his teacher.
Since then he has managed to secure a small role in upcoming movie Streetdance 3D and hopes to do more film and TV work and meet his idol Ne-Yo.
