This half Iranian, half Jamaican singer-songwriter from South London talks to SoulCulture:TV about her forthcoming debut album (Memoirs), working with Comissioner Gordon and Al Shux, being pigeonholed, performing on Later… with Jools Holland and how Sade, Lauryn Hill, Mary J Blige and Joni Mitchell have each influenced her.
